When a situation seems dire, pushing through can feel like a dead end.
However, faithfulness and steadfastness to the plan are still things I’m working on.
When it comes to our calling, we’re obligated to fulfill our God-given destiny. I believe that once God has placed a calling on your life, you must do whatever it takes, powered by the Holy Spirit, to keep persevering. Sometimes, perseverance alone can be difficult, but God is faithful enough to see us through.
The Bible says these two things:
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11 ESV)
He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6 ESV)
While my journey remains tough, I trust God enough to know that His plans are greater and that His work will be completed. The God who began a good work in you is the same God who will ensure that His plans come to fruition in you.
Be faithful enough to keep trying, to keep persevering in God.
